Audi collection collaborates with Period Correct for limited edition S1 clothing collection

Audi collection has collaborated with Californian design house Period Correct for a limited-edition capsule collection, which draws inspiration from the Group B Audi Sport quattro S1 that dominated the World Rally Championship in the 1980s.
It was a combination of massive horsepower, a shortened wheelbase, progressive aerodynamics and legendary quattro® all-wheel drive traction that took Audi to the top of the World Rally Championship in the 1980s. For many, the Group B era of rally is among the greatest periods of international motorsport, and thanks to the Audi Sport quattro S1 it is also an era the Audi brand will be closely associated with forever.
Based in Costa Mesa, Period Correct was created with the purpose of bringing motorsport heritage to a new audience, making the design house a perfect outlet to conceptualize a line of apparel for Audi collection, utilizing the Audi Sport quattro S1 as inspiration.
The Period Correct S1 Collection for Audi collection is comprised of eight unique pieces, including two high-quality cotton T-shirts priced at $48, and two long-sleeved tees priced at $58 among other items.
A crew-neck sweatshirt, created from lightweight French terry cotton and costing $108 is also available, as is a $175 coach’s jacket, carrying the Period Correct “P” logo on the chest, quattro script on the sleeve and Sport quattro S1 details on the back.
The final items in the Period Correct S1 Collection are a baseball cap embroidered with “Sport quattro S1” on the front and has the Period Correct “P” logo on the back, priced at $55. Additionally, there is a $95 tote bag made from 18oz natural duck canvas with Cordura reinforcement to round out the limited edition offerings.
All the pieces in the Period Correct S1 Collection are embellished with a specially woven label stitched to the bottom of each garment exterior (excluding the cap), commemorating this unique collaboration between Audi collection and Period Correct.
