Audi tests its WEC race cars at Le Castellet
Audi collected further data to set up the latest R18 e-tron quattro during the WEC „The Prologue“ test days at Le Castellet. After the team has used test cars for the entire development process so far, the race cars number ‚1’ and ‚2’ did their first laps on a race track on Friday and Saturday. Thus Audi has completed an important step in the preparations prior to the Silverstone season opener on 20 April.
Dindo Capello at Baselworld for partner Oris
The three-time Le Mans winner Dindo Capello visited Baselworld, the world’s leading trade show for watches and jewelry, for Audi. The former Audi factory driver, who represents the four rings today as a brand ambassador and as an Audi dealer in Italy, gave a talk about the motorsport commitment of his brand to an audience of more than 200 Oris importers from all over the world. The Swiss watch manufacturer has been ‘Official Watch Partner’ of Audi Sport in the DTM and the WEC since this year and is involved in the Audi R8 LMS Cup as well.
