Audi of America Reports July Sales Results
AUBURN HILLS, Mich. — Audi of America, Inc. reported July sales of 7,190, representing a 2.4% increase when compared to July 2004 sales of 7,021. Sales of Audi’s newest offering, the Audi A3, with 763 are up over 35 percent over last month. The A3, introduced only in May, represents Audis 5th model line, together with A4, A6, A8 and the TT sports car. The Audi A4/S4 sedan, Avant and Cabriolet model line performed exceptionally well with 3,360 units sold, up 19 percent over last year. Year-to-date Audi of America sales of 44,891 are only slightly below last year’s figure of 44,991 and reflect an increase in market share in the sector for premium brand import cars. Audi of America, Inc.’s parent company, AUDI AG, today released their financial results for the first half of 2005, which are attached to this release.
