Audi Public Relations Names New Product and Technology Communications Manager

AUBURN HILLS, Mich. – As part of company efforts to strengthen its communications outreach, Audi of America, Inc. announced today that Alan Hall has joined the public relations as the product and technology communications manager.

Recently, Audi’s public relations department underwent a re-organization to strengthen brand communications with the appointment of Jennifer Cortez as director of corporate communications. Patrick Hespen was hired as Audi’s media relations specialist and regional offices were established in order to further media outreach to business and lifestyle media.

“Growing our public relations staff is key to furthering our relationships with the media,” said Cortez. “Alan will be integral in assisting launch efforts for new products such as the Q7 coming next year, as well as promoting Audi’s leading edge technology.”

Alan brings seven years of public relations experience in the automotive industry. In his most recent role at Campbell & Company, Dearborn, MI, Alan was an Account Director, serving as Communications Manager for Ford Special Vehicle Team (SVT). In this role Alan was responsible for the direct communications strategy for Ford SVT products, as well as the Ford Racing Performance Parts brand. He also managed communications for high-profile, high-performance vehicles, including the Ford GT supercar.
