Audi starts fourth quarter with sales growth

  • Sales chief Dietmar Voggenreiter: “We are on track to closing the challenging year 2016 with growth”
  • November launch of Audi Q2 and A5 Coupé in Europe, along with A6 L e-tron in China

AUDI AG sold more premium automobiles in October than one year ago. Compared with the same month in 2015, global deliveries increased by 1.2 percent to around 150,950 units. As such, the company has exceeded the 2015 figures every month in the year to date amid a challenging environment. In October, Audi defied the negative market trend in the USA achieving growth for the 70th month in a row; high increases in Canada (+10%) confirmed the successful sales performance in North America. Worldwide, the brand with the Four Rings increased its sales by 4.2 percent since January to around 1,559,750 cars.
