    Audi R8 is “best of the best” at the “red dot award” 2013
    Audi was a triple-prize winner at this year’s “red dot award: product design 2013″. Not only did the Audi R8 take the top accolade “red dot: best of the best,” Audi’s already multi-award winning Audi A3 Sportback and Audi S3 won “red dots” for their high design quality. The “red dot award” is a globally recognized award for industrial design and acknowledges not just aesthetic form, but also pioneering trends and the designers’ innovations. The jury is composed of 37 experts from 24 countries. (July 2, 2013)

    AUDI AG receives “German Ideas Award” 2013
    Ideas management is very important to Audi and its staff is quick to offer suggestions for improvement. This was the conclusion of the “dib Report 2013 Benchmarking in Ideas Management,” thereby winning Audi the German Ideas Award 2013 in the automobile category. The prize is awarded by the German Institute of Business Management (dib) in Frankfurt. (June 11, 2013)

    Google Street View: Telematics Update Award 2013 for Audi connect
    At the beginning of June, Audi won the “Best Navigation Solution” award for its navigation system MMI navigation plus. Now, the Ingolstadt manufacturer has just received a prestigious award for the integration of Google Street View into the connectivity service Audi connect. This is the fifth Telematics Update Award in a row for Audi. Audi was recognized for its Modular Infotainment Platform (MIB) in 2012, for Audi connect in 2011 and for the MMI navigation function Google Earth in 2010. The award is presented by Telematics Detroit, the world’s largest and most important trade fair for telematics applications. (June 20, 2013)

    Array of awards for Audi in the Automotive Brand Contest 2013
    Audi won awards in 11 categories at the Automotive Brand Contest 2013. The brand with the four rings was able to bowl over the expert jury with its outstanding performance in the areas of product exterior, product interior, product design, advertising campaign, corporate publishing and digital. The Audi technology and brand magazine “Encounter” even won “Best of Best”. The Automotive Brand Contest 2013 is organized by the German Design Council and is a non-partisan, international design competition for automotive brands. Prizes are presented at the Automotive Designers’ Night on the first press day of the International Motor Show (IAA) in Frankfurt. (June 10, 2013)

    Audi A6 2.8 FSI is Auto Test winner for best price/performance ratio
    Audi A6 2.8 FSI multitronic prevails: Editors of the German magazine Auto Test concluded that the car with the four rings offers the best price/performance ratio in the “upper middle class” category. In addition to factors such as acceleration, elasticity, stopping distance and consumption, surcharge pricing and operating costs, quality, safety and resale played a decisive role. The winners were chosen after the jury considered more than 500 tests and buyer’s guides over an entire test year. (June 27, 2013)

    J.D. Power: Audi in China enjoys the highest customer satisfaction
    Audi took top ranking for the fourth consecutive time in the China Sales Satisfaction Index (SSI). The Ingolstadt brand was able to win over its customers in all five evaluation criteria: initial contact, advice, dealer facilities, conclusion of sale, and delivery, establishing the brand with the four rings as the premium manufacturer with the highest customer satisfaction in China. Around 14,500 car owners who purchased a new vehicle between July 2012 and February 2013 were surveyed. It is the fourteenth time that J.D. Power and Associates have conducted this study.
