Willow Grove, PA – AWE Tuning is excited to announce the AWE Tuning 2.0T Boost Tap for B8.5 Audi 2.0Ts.
The tap itself is constructed of lightweight, incredibly strong CNC Machined Aluminum, which is anodized black for long life, and laser etched with the AWE Tuning logo. The tap incorporates two injection molded ports for added flexibility. The Boost Tap was designed with a double o-ring seal for leak free operation.
Included in the kit is all of the hardware youll need for installation, as well as a specifically chosen 3 hose extension, constructed of reinforced silicone for strength, heat resistance and durability.
The 2.0T TFSI Motor used in the 2013+ A4 and A5 requires a unique boost tap due to a change in layout from the pre-facelift B8s. Enter the AWE Tuning 2.0T B8.5 Boost Tap. Its simple, elegant, easy to install and reliable not to mention an incredibly economical way to tap into this generation of 2.0T TFSI Motor for both boost and vacuum, states AWE Tuning VP of Marketing Jesse Kramer.
The set up re-uses the original equipment fittings, making this a simple installation, while retaining factory reliability.
The AWE Tuning 2.0T Boost Tap design allows for integration with any aftermarket Boost Gauge or Diverter Valve.
