According to published reports Audi Korea, which is the newly established local sales arm of Audi AG, has appointed Dominique Boesch as Managing Director.

Boesch, who will oversee Audi Korea’s general operations including sales, aftersales, dealer development, marketing and human resources, had previously been in charge of sales and management at Audi’s Singaporean operation. He is 38 years old.

“Initially, we will focus on developing our dealer network and customer service offerings in order to get closer to our customer,” Boesch said in a statement. “We will also introduce several new models that will appeal to the specific lifestyle needs of Korean drivers.”

Audi Korea is scheduled to begin operations on Oct. 1. So far, Audi vehicles have been sold in Korea through a local importer.
