ANN ARBOR, MI – Enlighten announced today that it had won an ADDY® Award at the prestigious national competition. Sponsored by the American Advertising Federation (AAF), the ADDY Awards is the nation’s largest creative competition honoring excellence in advertising. Enlighten’s winning submission for Audi’s luxury flagship sedan, the 2004 A8 L, was one of only five projects nationally to be honored in the category for best Flash-based consumer website. With its elegant, sophisticated design, the A8 L website immerses users in the vehicle’s groundbreaking innovations — including its all-aluminum body, adaptive air suspension, and revolutionary Multi Media Interface. Based on a 3D model developed directly from proprietary CAD data, the “Envision” section offers a series of large-scale, interactive images allowing the user to see from multiple angles the beauty, luxury and craftsmanship that are hallmarks of the car.
The “Explore” section features a host of rich media movies, animations, illustrations and instructional videos and serves as the authoritative guide to car’s technical innovations. Tight integration with the Audi brand site also ensures that visitors always have quick and easy access to shopping functions such as configure, compare and contact a dealer. In fact, the A8 L microsite has contributed to record sales of Audi’s flagship luxury sedan.
