Ingolstadt – Audi is making a personalized world of music available inside the cars of its customers. The revised model lines of the Audi A6 and Audi A7 Sportback as well as the new Audi TT have an optional new connect service on board that customers can use to stream music through online providers Napster and Aupeo!

Audi is expanding the web-based services that it offers with online media streaming. It is now available in the revised Audi A6 and Audi A7 Sportback model families as well as in the new Audi TT Coupé and Audi TT Roadster. In order to use the service, customers must have the MMI navigation plus infotainment system and the Audi connect equipment option installed.

After installing the free Audi “MMI connect” app on their smartphone, online media streaming provides drivers with access to the services offered on the Napster music portal and the Aupeo! radio service. As a result, Audi customers can conveniently stream almost 20 million music tracks and several thousand audio books in mp3 format in the MMI. To do so, the smartphone is connected with the MMI by Wi‑Fi. The controls are fully integrated.
