Reader’s Rides: Nick’s Glut Orange Audi S5 – Mods Update
AudiWorld has been following the progress of Nick’s projects with his Glut Orange Audi S5. Here is the latest update on the car. In case you missed it, here is the first installment. The S5 has gone under the knife since we have last seen it. Several modifications have been chosen to strategically alter the performance, visual appearance and sound track of the V8. The most notable difference to date is the addition of APR’s 4.2 V8 ECU software and AWE’s Downpipes and non resonated exhaust with its 4 meaty slash cut tips. The stance has been further bolstered to near perfection with H&R spacers, 20mm front and 25mm rear. Other minor non cosmetic upgrades include a hardwired V1 Radar system, complete Vag-Com programing and also Lo-Jack. Final touches include 20% Metallic Black Tint all around and Audi collection Carbon Fiber decorative pieces to round out the minor details. Up next? The S5 will be fitted with a coilover system to further improve handling and the dynamic styling along with, of course, the final piece to the puzzle some new custom wheels. Stay tuned.
