The Drivers Rally is Coming!

As winter slowly turns to spring, east coast Volkswagen and Audi owners are preparing for what is sure to be the largest event of its kind in 2006. This massive group drive known as “The Drivers Rally”, will in Maryland and has multiple other pick-up points planned between Maryland and Ohio. It is designed to be 3 day journey and along the way participants will ride the St. Louis arch, and travel to over a mile high as they arrive in Colorado, and will be some of the first to drive the brand new track in Hastings, NE.

There will also be several shop visits planned, some of which include Mid-America Motorworks, Bob Hindson Racing, and RS Motorsports. The trip will culminate with a visit to the 5th annual Dubs Along the Rockies (DATR) in Colorado Springs, CO. With show entry included in the registration fee, The Drivers Rally participants will be a help celebrate the 5th year of DATR which is far and away the largest VW and Audi show in Rocky Mountain the region. On top of the car show, there will also be a highly challenging autocross spread over 2 days, private driving instruction, slow drags (the last driver to the finish wins), and remote control racing aloingside some of the most talented R/C drivers in the country!

Open to all VW, Audi and Porsche enthusiasts The Drivers Rally it is set to depart on Tuesday the 20th of June from Induktion Motorsports in Hanover, Maryland.
