Victories for Audi in Germany and in the USA

Ingolstadt  – Twice the pleasure for Prosperia C. Abt Racing at ADAC GT Masters season finale: the Audi privateer team clinched both the drivers as well as the team titles. In the USA, Paul Miller Racing broke new ground: first victory for an Audi R8 LMS in the Tudor United SportsCar Championship.

Premiere victory for Audi in the Tudor United SportsCar Championship (TUSC). Customer team Paul Miller Racing and its drivers Christopher Haase, Bryce Miller and Matthew Bell won the GT class in the season finale ‘Petit Le Mans’ at Road Atlanta following an inspirational recovery drive. The trio started the 10-hour race from 13th place in class in the Audi R8 LMS, and fought their way into the lead. Even a safety car phase shortly before the end of the race did not put final stint driver Christopher Haase off his stride. The margin of victory after 376 laps was three seconds. Audi took overall victory in the ‘Petit Le Mans’ race between 2000 and 2008.
