The Utah Chapter of the Rocky Mountain Audi Club is planning an afternoon BBQ at Antelope Island State Park. We will be meeting at the pavilion on the beach at approximately 1 pm. We should be starting to eat around 2 pm. Families are welcome.

Antelope Island is located about 20 miles north of Salt Lake City. The island is entered by crossing a 7 mile causeway, a $7 admission price is required for all vehicles.

To get to Antelope Island from Salt Lake City, head north on I-15 and exit on the Clearfield exit #335. Go west on Antelope Drive until you reach the gate to enter the park. Then cross the causeway until you reach the island. Go right at the fork and follow the road until you reach the beach. You can't miss it. You will see three buildings, the center building is the pavillion.

If driving from Ogden, head south on I-15 and exit at Clearfield exit #335. Then follow the same directions as above.

The beach is really nice and is equipped with showers, so if you want to go swimming in the Great Salt Lake, this would be the best place to do it.
