When and where did you purchase this car?
Owasco Audi in Whitby ON in March 02
Why did you choose this car as the basis of your project?
There was no other car like it on the market. The fit finish and style could not
be matched by anyone else.
Was there anything unique about the car before you starting modifying it?
Yes, it is the last Aviator Grey TT to come to Canada in 2002, which means forever!!
Did you consider any other brands, and what led you to Audi?
Yes when I bought this car I looked at the Porsche Boxster and the Chevy Corvette
What was your objective with this project?
To keep the car clean and styled in a “stealthy” fashion, not over the top.

All the mechanical mods I did myself. With the help of Mr Freiherr!!!
What was the most difficult part of the project to get right?
Not difficult, just time consuming.. the install of the the LSD doors. To get them perfect there were a lot of fine adjustments, and the extension of the door wiring harnesses was very stressful!
If you had to do it all over again what would you change?
Nothing!!!!! I love my car!!
Have you generated any formal test results with this car (dyno, 1/4 mile, etc?)
Not till I install a stage III turbo kit
Are you finished – what’s next?
The audio will be re done this winter, and possibly a wide body conversion.
And possibly Stage III turbo!!
Is this your daily driver, and if not what else is in your garage?
No it’s not my DD. I have a 96 Honda Accord Beater
What is your favorite thing about this car?
The colour, the style.
As modified, what makes your car unique?
There are no other TT’s like it.. combination of colour mods etc. The Lambo doors stand out in a crowd. Also there are no other TT’s with Big Brake kits that sport the Axis Milano wheels. Mine were custom machined to fit this application.
Where can other enthusiasts see your car?
I attend all the major shows in Eastern Canada. Also some of the larger shows in the US. Waterfest and HIN to name a few.

Just a shout out to Audiworld!!! It’s such a great site on many levels. In the specific user groups, anything and everything can be found out. It’s a very valuable resource.
Also I have made many lasting friendships thru Audiworld.. which I would have never been able to without it!!
