I recently bought a 2003 A4 Avant Quattro with the 1.8t engine. I'm tripping two codes both for the camshaft position sensor, one of the auto parts stores I called for pricing on the part said I needed two for my model. Can anyone confirm or deny that?

Theres only one camshaft sensor located on the front if the engine on the intake cam under the timing cover. It is engine specific, so there may have been 2 models available and you need the proper one for your engine. On the front right corner of your head there will be three engraved letters that tell you what engine you have.
