Min Oil Warning
Hi guys, my 2011 audi a4 is giving a similar problem as above. I intermittently get a min oil warning on the MMI, however when i open and close the bonnet it goes away only to come back again in the next one or two days. Every time when i open and close the bonnet it goes away and then it comes back in sometime. The oil was topped up only a week ago and its done only 300 kilometres since then. I'm really confused and would appreciate your help

The oil level measuring system is reset each time you open the hood, Nik.
Have you been able to view the oil level in the MMI system? Is it low?

Hi, once the bonnet is closed the MMI doesnt display any oil information until the minimum light warning is back again (which happens typically after driving for another day) which is when it displays minimum oil.
I got it checked at a service station, they topped up the oil however the light came back only after driving 400 kilometers (250 miles).
