Exhaust manifold torque
I've been all over my Bentleys and can't find a value for torquing the exhaust manifold nuts on the studs. This concerns me as I do not want to over torque since the studs are in aluminum. My luck they would twist and strip the head. Thanks. 12v AAH. New studs and nuts, by the way.

look here...
Audi > B4 > 1993 -1995
2.8 Liter V6 2V Engine Mechanical, Engine Code(s): AAH, AFC
26 - Exhaust system, Emission controls
Exhaust system, servicing (all-wheel-drive)
I believe it's #23 in the illustration
23 - Nut, 25 Nm (18 ft lb)

Thanks for that. I saw the diagram in the bulletins but didn't look close enough to see the exhaust manifold in the picture. I don't have the washers they depict, but sometimes they get general and not specific for the Cabriolet. I was tired this afternoon and put a small nick in my freshly resurfaced head. It's back to the machine shop for an opinion. You'll hear me scream if it is bad news.
