I will have to check on the fuel filter. The air filter is clean.
As for the spark plugs, I have no idea but thanks for the advise.
I just bought the car off Craigslist... and I thought it was a pretty good deal.
So far I've done Heads, Timing belt, Serpentine belt, Camshaft position sensor all the gaskets and pulleys to.

Any chance the power steering pump failing could have anything to do with this? It was whining and making a lot of noise then today the serpentine belt got shredded, so I'm going to replace the power steering pump.

Don't know for sure..a catastrophic failure of the power steering pump is unusual..might be the issue
