Just replaced the pcv on my 06, A3, as it was making the dreaded death screech.

Picked up a new part from the dealer, slapped it in and it was fine for about 10 miles of driving. Now the noise as back, just as loud as ever.

I've searched and searched for others causes, I.e. Diverter valve, but the pcv is the only reference I found for the noise.

Any thoughts?

I have ~190k miles. With no other mechanical issues.

That would be the best way I could help you.

Another mechanical issue could have caused your new pcv valve to go bad right away.
