Vacuum Pump Install Help

I have a 2.0t FSI '07 A3 and am trying to figure out why my new vacuum pump is leaking oil like crazy. he contact surfaces all appear to be in good shape, the O-ring on the new unit doesn't have any pits or cracks, and I'm stumped.

Anyone have any ideas?
