My 03 allroad has been having problems with its power windows not working and the alarm system acting up for no apparent reason. When I try to drive the car, the display shows that all my passenger doors are open and the alarm triggers, it also happens when double tapping the lock and unlock buttons on my keys. I've tried manually locking it with the key, resetting the alarm system with the reset instructions in my owners manual and I don't have the tenacity to start blindly messing with things. I've never worked on a car before, I'm lacking in common knowledge and I don't have any help. If anyone knows if this is just a common occurrence,please help me find a way to fix it. I would really appreciate the help.
