Lurching at consistant Hwy speed

Lurching at consistant Hwy speed
I have an '03 A6 2.7T Quattro (108k miles), and in the past month it has lurched while driving at a steady 60 mph or so (3 separate times). Feels like I hit a big bump or hit the brakes quick. I'm guessing transmission? Any ideas on what could cause this or what a solution may be?
