Default Question about hole under the intake manifold of 4.2i

Hello there,

It's my first post here, but I hope this is the begining of successfull cooperation with you guys.

I am owner of Audi A8 D3 4.2i 2003 year and last week I decided to perform a change of the two check oil valves under the intake manifold - my first real intervention. So, now I am waiting for a new throttle body gasket and tomorrow I plan to reassemble all the things. But... I have a question.

I found a strange hole with threaded holes around, at the rear of the driver's side, under the intake manifold. There was nothing hanging there (if I remember properly), but I think there should be. Any ideas for what it is and whether missing something? I checked all the .pdf docs that I have, but nothing inside. Any ideas?

Thank you very much in advance!

Tried to find out where the hole goes with wire, but it's some kind of decorative. So nothing to attach on it.
