V8 ART vs AWN engine code differences?
What separates the AWN vs ART V8 engines? Can I install an AWN motor from a 2001 A6 4.2 into a 2000 A6 4.2 with engine code ART?
If so, what may need to be carried over from the ART block?

AWN ART
has anyone done this conversion? I'm looking to do the same thing.
