where does everyone get there parts?
I'm getting ready to clean the carbon off the intake valves on my 2007 q7 just wondering where everyone gets there parts.
I think I'll get the intake gaskets from the dealer. But I'm still looking for a good place to get injector o-rings and spark plugs.

With my Audi, I am trying to stick to almost 100% original parts.
Using Audi Parts - Audi Genuine Parts & Accessories eStore I found that prices were much better than the local dealership. Since this is Audi's own site, dealers need to match the prices. Or buy the parts online and pick them up at the same dealer that won't match. Soon enough if they want the sale, they will begin matching.

Thanks for the link, but the nearest dealer is over 200 miles away.
And to tell you the truth I have not had the best of luck with getting parts through the dealer.
I agree that you should use genuine Audi parts but there has to be an alternative to the parts counter at the dealership. No one has favorite website or online distributor?

Just a quick update on case anyone else is looking around like I am.
After doing quite a bit of research I ended up getting my parts through genuineaudiparts.com.
I bought 2 intake gaskets 1 throttle body gasket and 8 new spark plugs. After shipping my order ended up being 85.00 less then what the dealer quoted me, and it saved me a 250 mile trip. I guess I'll see when they get here just how "Genuine" they are.

Uh.. that link is to Audi's USA parts site. You "can" pick up the parts at a dealer, or you can have them shipped to your door.
Either way, that site does not tack on the extra dealer upcharge. The pulley I needed was $77 at two dealerships, on the site it was $52. I was able to get it ... genuine Audi part...for $52
