I have a 2015 Allroad, I called that number above(Audi Connect) and they said my car can only take T Mobile but we all know that is not true.

They have contracts with both AT&T and Tmobile, why do they choose to lock a certain car to 1 provider?

I had my allroad in for the PCV service bulletin and got them to put the 3G upgrade module in free of charge under warranty.

The current upgrade was forced by T-Mo changing their 3G bands in several markets. Owners of MY13 vehicles in those markets found themselves being downgraded to 2G, because the old modem doesn't support the new 3G band T-Mo is moving to. Unfortunately, my pessimistic view on this is that T-Mo and AT&T would have to shut down their 3G networks to force Audi to offer an LTE upgrade for the non-MIB models.
Let's cross our fingers the scenario you outline takes place! I've found my latency had improved lately so I'll live with this.

Getting on my soapbox here...the more I pee the onion on Audi car technology, the more I believe that:
1) their glossy brochures and pamphlets at the dealer are worth more in paper than truth...what a bunch of marketing schmarm.
2) automakers won't stand much of a chance in 7-15 years if/when tech companies decide to move beyond mere console design and roll out chassis, etc. Tesla makes a pretty good case for why it's not so challenging to ramp up a good product line in little time.
