shrtbus(w/ cq)

This morning it was sleeting and my power folding mirror on the passenger side folded past normal to about 45 degrees past normal...I folded them both back in and out and they seem to be functioning normally now. Has anyone experienced this? Also, the passenger side seems to touch the glass when it folds in completely which seems weird. Is that normal as it doesn't happen on the drivers side.
