Any suggestions on which dashboard mount for a 2017 A4? I have a mount for the vents that doesn't work and I'd rather not use the suction cup mounts on the windshield.

I use a sun visor mount on the passenger visor.

When time permits I'll design a permanent mount that attaches to the right of the center display.

I added a gooseneck mount over the weekend. Both visor and gooseneck use magnetic holders. One day I'll run a power cable up to the visor.

The best mount I found was the Kenu Airframe Vent Mount. Hopefully this is not the one you have? To be fair, I have not test fit it in a A4 (I currently use on my JSW TDI) but was planning on using in the Allroad once I get it.
The Kenu is small, discreet, movable and strong. I love the thing.

I agree. I used the Kenu Airframe on my B8 Allroad, and it works great. It works equally well on the B9 Allroad-- although I tend to keep my iPhone in the center armrest because I use CarPlay and like charging my iPhone without cables cluttering the dash.

+3 on Kenu Airframe - I've been using CarPlay in center armrest too but used Kenu Airframe in my previous B8.5 and Audi A3 Sportback before that - it's a great product
