Well. I'm going to get some more miles and time before I post about that, but I am enjoying the ride.

Well, our club is getting bigger by the week. I have never seen a color vary so much under different lighting. I may be getting mine coated next week (have not decided if I will get it EXPEL'ed) and then I will really see what's what.

A fast avant/allroad is not a bad thing though I'm guessing they'll have to work hard to make it handle as well as an S4 sedan. But yes. An S4 avant would be nice. I love estates and a fast one would be real nice.

I've had this roof box (an old Thule Ascent) on five different cars between 2007 and now, so I've gotten accustomed to its noises. Sounds like a low level whooshing at highway speeds. Anything loose inside will make noise over bumps. The only issue I have is that the mounting arms are very close to the pano sunroof glass when it's open, which isn't a concern now but could be later in the year. Audi makes an adapter for its roof boxes to mount it on the rack's channels which I may pick up and adapt to this box somehow.
