just another flange seperation that the Audi B5 is known for...
the more frequent one is at the front of the cat where it meets the turbo. Audi just could not get the welds right on the exhaust flanges. They know damn well at A of A but they are bitches when it comes to owning up to the issue and covering it under warranty. True, exhaust does get old and rusty and will need replacement anyway. The type of fatique however shows that it is obvious that simply a better inner and outer weld from the factory would allow the exhaust to last longer in many cases. Oh well.
