Default Perhaps you can look at the S4

2.7liter V6, and Its a Twin turbo right? Audi did it and I dont see why these guys cant. That being said there will be what you call "engineering" involved. but thats a vague term. What exactly will have to be "engineered"? A common header with equal length to the turbo? That doesnt sound too hard. In my inexperienced opinion my guess is the programing of the ECU will be the hardest. A Stand alone management unit will take a week or two to wire up properly but it will make the car work. Or am I dead wrong? Feel free to correct me.

I mean you guys make the forum interesting with your negative attitudes. But, perhaps if we all tried to help each other instead of putting people and thier unkown abilites down, more could be accomplished.

Default What augdoga4 is wanting to do though is essentially create an S4 for cheap.

It would be more cost-effective to simply sell the A4 and purchase an S4.

We talk about things being difficult because so many people think it's just create a few peices of welded/bent metal and BAM its done. It's NEVER that easy. Case in point: a friend of mine did an SR20DET swap into his 240sx... a relatively COMMON swap, and it still presented many challenges... he went overbudget and it took him twice as long as he anticipated. We are being realistic with augdog and being helpful by giving our honest opinions.

Default I agree, buy an S4

But I understand the quest for exclusivity...

Default I do not. It's a waste of money.

People try to hard to look unique but all they do is end up looking stupid.

Default the maximum cfm flow on a k04 exhaust housing would be to small for a 2.8L displacment engine. it

would be more of a restriction than a power booster. you would need something in the range of a t3/t4 (if you are running low boost).

Default There was a custom turbo'd 12v A4... but not as clean as the 90s I've seen...

Here's info on them:

<a href="https://forums.audiworld.com/s4/msgs/950633.phtml">Thread 2</a>

Don't know what else happened with it from this point, but it's a start... and maybe a contact for you augdoga4
