98' 1.8T - Mileage Not Recording..Speedometer stops then starts...Humidity?
A freind was driving in to work this a.m. It have been 92, HOT and Humid in Mpls all week...Her speedometer stops working halfway in, and her mileage doesn't record (maybe a good thing) and then all of a sudden it starts up...Do you guys think it is the Humidity???? She is at 52,000 mileage.....Any ideas....

could be that her speedo has a faulty connection, and the milege wouldn't be recorded because on most cars (not sure about Audis) the odometer moves according to the speedo
