Bought a '99 A4 2.8 quattro with 199,*** miles to be my daily driver. It was between the one I bought and another 1998 that had 264,*** miles (burning oil after a test drive).

This '99 has great interior condition for being 16 years old and 2.8L motor is in top shape. - bought it on Saturday and now being Wednesday I am on the forums looking for tips to upgrade this old beauty.

Any cost effective ideas on what I can switch out the factory speakers? I dont believe i have the Bose system though definitely need to switch them all out.

Also are there ideas on how I can change the lighting on the instrument panel and within the cluster to be a different color than the red I have?
