A4 Avant FWD Transmission Question
Hi, I just recently purchased a 1998 A4 Avant FWD automatic and the car doesn't move when in drive or reverse. I pulled up some codes from the transmission:
P0741
P0733
P0722
P0717
Is this transmission toast? If so, what transmission do I need? I heard that there's multiple types. Thanks in advance!

If the fluid is full, and it wont move, its a junk transmission. Car-Part.com--Used Auto Parts Market, or ebay are good places to find a used transmission. You can find the transmission 3 digit code on the sticker in the spare tire well, next to the engine code, or on a green plate on the bottom side of the transmission right ahead of the pan.
