Its a 1999 Audi A4 2.8 Quattro I bought the car with blown head gasket took the head to the machine shop had the done and check replaced the head gaskets, water pump and timing belt. replace with all new sparks plug replace all vacuum lines. timing is fine the timing chains roller count is dead on but when i start the engine it turns over and starts only if you hold the throttle at 2000 rmps. if you hold it at 2000 the car will run for about ten mins but as soon as you let go of the gas it dies. then when you try to start it again it tries to start but wont. i have tired undoing the battery waiting 20 mins and re hooking up the battery and leaving the key on for 3 mins the car starts then but does the exact some thing. i am new to the audi world so any help would be great.
