Default Anyone with a 12V A4 2.8 -- please read this ////// 12V V6 Supercharger KIT!!

Hi,
I'm tired of not having the kind of power I want from my car... And I'm close to modding the rest of it exactly the way I want.. so I really don't want to sell this car and get another, where I get to start all over again. So, here's what I propose, if you are a 12V 2.8 V6 owner, and would be willing and able to pay about $4000-5000 for a tested supercharger kit, please email me. I will send this list to tuners who are willing to develop a kit once they see there is a lot of interest in it. Here's what I'll need:

name
email address,
phone number where you can be reached
car -- auto or not, quattro or not.

(I need this info so tuners can verify it)
I'll do the legwork, I'll call the tuners, I'll harass their staff day and night. All I need is your support. Also, if you don't have the money now, it doesn't matter. Even if research and development started today, a supercharger probably wouldn't be available for about a year.
PLEASE EMAIL ME OFF THE AUDIWORLD BOARD AT MWZVIPER@AOL.COM

Default Some guy did a turbo...

He had a TON of problems with the Hitachi controller IIRC.

You may want to contact him to see what kind of trouble he ran into.<ul><li><a href="https://forums.audiworld.com/performance/msgs/29027.phtml">turbo'd 2.8 12v post</a></li></ul>

Default yup... their kit would probably have sucked anyway. They weren't modifying the engine management

system.

Default Re: Anyone with a 12V A4 2.8 -- please read this ////// 12V V6 Supercharger KIT!!

There is a Supercharger now available for the 2.8 12V that yields an incredible 300+ HP. I have been spoeaking with the installer, and the manager of sales. The kit is sold by http://www.motodyne.com/ they claim it is safe, and have upgrade pulley kits available to increase boost. Boost is about 7lbs-12lbs depending on preference. the price is around $4999.00. The mechanic I spoke with said that the Supercharger is more powerful than the PES for the 30V HMMMMM. Lets keep this a secret. Demand is said to be high, I believe him since it took him a week to respond to my email.

Here is the email message that he sent me the other day.

Jason:
Currently available is the 12v supercharger kit. The
30v kit is in a testing phase and will be available
to the public in a few months. Our 30v kit is an
intercooled kit and is producing very high
performance gains. If you are concidering a 30v
supercharger, our first few kits on the market will
come with free installation. In regards to your
querry concerning the 12v supercharger. We currently
carry a pulley upgrade kit to run much higher boost,
So you can achieve 300+ HP. Because of popular
demand the 12v supercharger and its accessories are
at near back-order status. Hope to hear from you
soon.

Thank you for your interest,

Heres the other message:
otodyne supercharger kit for the Audi 12 valve 2.8.

Eaton supercharger: unit was designed for our application.
It is very similar to the Eaton used On the Mercedes Benz Kompressor.

Motodyne intake manifold. Replaces factory intake manifold.

Msd BTM (Boost Timing master) cockpit controlled timing advance and retard,
is interfaced with factory ignition controls.
Ignition curve will be proportional to boost, just like a factory Turbo
Audi.

FMU Fuel control is handled by an FMU. Fuel Management Unit. Like the MSD
boost-timing master this also can be tuned, according to octane, altitude,
and other current or future modifications made to the car.

Why not chip the ECM?
Why not add bigger injectors?
Being that the air meter is calibrated to fuel injector size, changing fuel
injectors would warrant a new air meter, And New Software in the moronic.
This can be done, but your cars Factory Motronic still cannot sense boost
pressure.
To do this a New Motronic similar to the 92-97 S4-S6 would be needed, GIAC
code similar to the RS2 code, but configured to run a 6 cylinder, not the
turbo 5.
The New S4 code was developed for OBDII (on board diagnostics) and cannot be
shared easily.
Once this was solved the software still became an issue, vehicle weight 100,
A4, 90, Avant, cabriolet. And lastly but very important manual transmission
or Automatic

Heavy testing and realistic thinking, to make this a reliable, safe, and
affordable kit. We choose to interface the factory Engine management, with
the MSD BTM , and FMU, both are tunable, but have fixed starting and ending
points for safety,

Boost: (higher Psi levels) above 7psi. This is obtained by changing the
pulley.
7psi was chosen for a stock motor with factory Compression ratio.
Yielding 285 Hp

Price: 4,799.94
complete kit with all instructions(CD ROM) and hardware.
www.motodyne.com.
Soon to be featured in Euro car magazine, An overwhelming response to this
new kit,
Has our phone lines busy, We apologize if we did not get back to you
promptly.
