Honestly. I get everything except the little boxes with the numbers in them. Look at 7 & 8 in this heated seat diagram. I expect to see another 7 & 8 on another page of the heated seat diagram and that just shows how the pages link together. But I don't see another 7 & 8.



If I read Bentley's "How to read wiring diagrams" section, it says this about the numbers inside boxes:



What the hell is "current track"? What am I missing?

Look at the numbers along the bottom of the chart. In your picture, 7 and 8 might be above 112 and 113. Go back and find the 7 and 8 at the bottom and look for the boxes labeled 112 and 113. The wire colors should match. Does that help?

I'm still in the dark. Here is the entire page 3 of the Htd Seat diagram. I added colored circles cause these didn't come out that well. This is a little 4 page diagram and common sense tells me the next stop is going to be the seat controls in the dash. So I look at the colors in the red circle (sw/ws) and or course they show up on the previous page going into the switch shown in my red circle on the that page. But the red circle on the previous page is a 16 box. On a more complicated diagram with more pages, how would I know that 7 box corresponds to 16 box without looking at every &%$#@ color on every wire? It must make some sense but I just don't get it.

OK, got it. I read what you said again and I see the same nubers at the bottom of the page 3 drawing that correspond to the boxed number on page 2. For some reason that's not intuitive at all to me, but I get it now.
