Hey guys, im new here on this forum as from my area nobody could help :/

Im trying to figure out the EXACT OE of rear differential on my car, as the curent one wont be working anymore soon...

my ride is A4 B5 1998 avant (before facelift) 1.8T 132kw AJL engine quattro 5 speed manual.

People tells me to check the number on differential myself, but it seems its has been replaced some time ago, so the current differential i use doenst have to be the one that suppose to be there, that would explain the issues...
but the replacing of rear diff should help a lot, if u guys help me figure out...

I am guessing its this one 01H 500 040 (but there is always a letter at the end of OE, and there is a lot of diffs with same part number but different letter in it, so thats my main problem what i cant figure out myselt :/

used or brand new? if brand new call the dealer, if used check out Car-Part.com--Used Auto Parts Market and put in your cars info.
