Default Well, I dont' know if I like the look of the center cap that comes with them to be honest,

I would prefer to be able to put OEM caps on them if possible, or at least have the option to do so if I do not like the caps that AAArims offers.

Default Chances are...from that pic, that the OEM caps will fit that wheel.

My reasoning is this. The AAARim replica appears to have the same "chrome" centercap that comes with other replicas (WheelExchange, EdgeRacing)....and I doubt that there's any difference in those caps. If that's the case, then the OEM caps will fit the AAArim replica.

Default Very little, IMO.

A few of the replicas are TT ALMS replicas, but the difference is very very slight. Nothing wrong with that though, as they still LOOK pretty darn close to RS4 replicas.

So besides that, offset seems to be the only other tangible difference. Achtuning I believe is the only place to offer it in ET35, which is the "accepted" offset around here. Most others are ET30.

They're ALL heavy (at least 27lbs), I don't care what one place might quote you about their replica. Achtuning = 27lbs. WheelExchange = 28lbs (though they'd like to claim 25-26lbs). Yeah, they love to fudge those wheel weights.

As far as strength goes.....well, like I said, they're all heavy. A lot of people use the analogy that heavy = strong. Sure....take that FWIW. I don't think we can accurately say that one replica is stronger than the others or one is significantly softer.....until there are MANY MANY sets out there on the road. Even then, it'll take a pattern of lots of bent wheels before you can convice me that "so-and-so's" replica is soft. And it goes the other way, just because a certain replica has never been reported to have bent, doesn't mean that it's automatically the strongest replica out there. ALL wheels will bend if you hit them hard enough.

Anyways, hope this helps. This has been covered thoroughly in the archives, so you could search if you want more info. Good luck

Default And oem = the '01.5 sport package wheel center caps, not true RS4 ones.

There is some plastic material ground away on the back to make them fit.

Default ?

Oh, so what I'm calling "OEM caps" are really just sport pkg. caps? Interesting....learn something new every day! :-) I actually just installed them on my replicas.

Yeah, but it's essentially built into the price...

Default How much of a difference does 2mm offset make? from 35--->33

Does less offset move the wheel in more or out more? And is this difference negligable?

Default 35-->33 would move it out 2mm, yep.

I'm running 225/40 18's ET30 and do get some rubbing when I hit a large hump in the road. You'd probably be ok with ET33, but it really just depends on your suspension set-up and the tire size. Good luck

is that yep to signify that it is negligable?
