All Audi's are FWD. Quattro adds the rear diff and half shafts...

Understood.

My brain fart (and after wrenching on domestic rear-wheel drivers too much) was corrected by twentysevenlitres.

Have you had a chance to take a peek around the inside of the front wheels to check for leaking halfshaft boots? Even if not the cause of your 'clicking', it's a good inspection to make since the boots always seem to fail at some point and if caught early can be an inexpensive repair vs running them dry (or contaminating the innards) and having to swap out half shafts.

How many miles does your rig have on it?
