So I just bought a audi a4 B5 1998. I didn't notice it at first, but now I noticed that when turning the engine off and removing the key from the ignition, the little computer screen which shows the total mileage and the mileage since the last reset is still showing up. It's not disappearing. I can mess around with the button for a bit while the key is in ignition and it will turn off, but after I remove the key from ignition and open the doors to get out, it lights up again sort of. And im wondering is it some sort of electrical problem or is it supposed to be showing up at all times? Nothing else is lighting up, it's the only thing.
