My son's 98 A4 (190,000) sprung a leak the other day and I need some help/direction. The leak is on the passenger front corner of the radiator. I hope someone can point me in the right direction. Thx
Cannot really tell from the photo's. There is a hose from the radiator in that corner, if it has the quick fit fitting the O ring can leak, as can a split in the hose, the fitting for the temp sensor as well. Run the engine and use a flashlight to observe.
I really could not tell if it was a hose or the radiator so I broke it down. It turned out to be the radiator so now just waiting on the parts. Once I had it apart I decided replace the belt & tensioner along with the coolant reservoir.
I love the car but it needs the drivers seat replaced so if anyone knows how or where I can fix/replace the seat let me know. Thx.
