Default 99 A4 1.8t bog issue? (With video)

Hi there, my friend sent me this video of a car I'm interested in purchasing. This is the only issue with the car, I was told that a mechanic claimed it was a boost leak. Does anyone have any idea what this could be?

I apologize for the terrible quality, I'm hoping maybe it will give someone a small clue of where to start looking, as I am very new to Audi's in general. I'm not sure of CEL code(s).

Thanks

I was also told that it doesn't fully die, just bogs to below ~1k rpm.

(Sorry for double post, I don't see an edit button on mobile)

Big air leak, broken breather parts, bad PCV valve, Bad MAF all cause bog and hesitation. The boost leak is usually like one of the boost hoses are loose, torn, or the intercooler is cracked from a curb or something.
