How hard to replace a thermostat to A4?
Can someone tell me how hard to replace the
thermostat to A4?
Seems that anything you do to the A4 is always
hard to access.
My car overheated momentarily last night and
I immediately turned it off. After 15 minutes,
I tried it and I get home without overheating.
I suspect the thermostat got stuck....what do you think?
Thanks

It's definitely not at the top hose...
...I can tell you that much. I've not replaced one myself, but IIRC from looking at the Bentley once, you remove the bottom hose and there it is. Try a search of the archives, you'll probably turn up something more detailed.

Here's a very exploded view...
;-)
It's right under the waterpump in my pics...
You can get to it by removing two 10mm hex screws IIRC.
