Hub assembly

Will a hub assembly from a 99-01 Passat fit my 01 a4 Quattro

Depends. They have different bearings and hubs between 4 and 6 cylinders.

well I was told it is a 2000 Passat V6 and the gentleman told me that he looked it up and they are exactly the same but I'm a little skeptical

If yours is a V6 and this one is a V6 should be the same hub and bearing.
