Inner CV joint to transmission bolt size? 8mm or 10mm? Torque Specs?

Inner CV joint to transmission bolt size? 8mm or 10mm? Torque Specs?
I am replacing the front driverside axle on a 1998.5 Audi A4 2.8L Quattro Manual Transmission. I ended up stripping 3 of the 6 bolts that hold the axle to the transmission.
The dealer says there is either a 8mm or a 10mm bolt listed. The online catalogs are showing they are 8mm. Does anyone know off hand the correct size? Anyone know off hand the torque specs?
