Losing coolant and steam from my exhaust '00 1.8T
I've been working on my stutter issue, and new problems came along today that may be the issue.
1. I've had a small coolant leak that is now larger
2. I now have significant sweet smelling steam out the exhaust
3. As the car is running I have water dripping out of the flex pipe
4. I do now yet see coolant in my oil
I know the options are:
1. Blown head gasket
2. Cracked head
3. Possibly the turbo is leaking coolant?
What are the proper steps for diagnosis?

define coolant leak.noticeable location? besides your exhaust. my first bet would be go check each plug an inspect them one or 2 of them will look noticeably different an more than likely a head gasket. just my thought
