Hi to all Audi lovers i need some advice and help with fixing my 1999 audi a4 quattro 1.8t mt.

My problem is this i was driving to my moms house when my car died i mange to get off the road to see smoke coming from under the hood so i get out pop 2 flairs on the road to see that my ICM had fell on my down pipe and had melted the 4 pin to the ICM. Evidently the owner that had it before me had removed the air box and did not mount the ICM to the car after he did that .so now i am trying to fix this as this is my only car at this time do to my house fire.

is there a way to fix this or by pass this or get the parts and a wire diagram to get her on the road. i am open to all questions and ideas.
ps i will have picthers up tomorrow around 12pm my time .

would a ICM DELETE work and if so can some one give me step by step and pictures.

well i got the pigtail i need and will not start still what all does the ICM make work.she will try to crank but i do not hear the fuel pump does the icm have some thing to do with this?

Check fuses! If the ICM melted and the pigtail or any part inside went to ground an engine management fuse will blow, no start and probably no fuel pump relay action.
