Default Need your expertise, back in the game.

Hi guys, I'm new to this forum but I am not to Audi tuning, just out of touch about 9 years out of touch.

I have a 2000 a4 1.8t. Back in 2008 I purchased a used k04 and ended but blowing both the turbo and the block in 1 swift over boost. Young and dumb I'll say it's half part failure and my wrecklessness.I layed the car to rest back at my parents place because I was straight outta college and needed to prioritize and get a daily with no issues on a ramen noodle budget.

Anyway now that I've got a career I'd like to drop a whole new engine into mix and do it right. I've still got the RS4 front bumper and front mount inter cooler in the garage.

Before I drop a 1.8t into the mix has anyone been able to throw any other engines either newer b6 b7 a4 engines or S4 RS4 engines in the mix. I'd love to hear the potential of this before, since I will be starting from scratch. Any pictures or comments on this would be much appreciated.
